The newest version of the 1.6 turbocharged Renault Clio is equipped with a factory-installed, side-mounted intercooler that is undersized and poorly positioned for the original vehicle setup, and even less adequate for vehicles that have undergone ECU tuning. Forge Motorsport addresses this inefficiency with their front-mounted intercooler kit, which takes advantage of the lower front grille for enhanced airflow through the intercooler core.
