The Mishimoto thermostat, compatible with the BMW M3 F80/M4 F8x and M2 Competition, is engineered to decrease the cooling time of the S55 engine. It achieves this by reducing the cooling system's activation temperature from 100°C to 95°C. Installation is straightforward as the thermostat fits directly without any modifications, and a mounting kit is provided.
