This conversion kit replaces the cam follower type HPFP setup of the 2.0 TFSI EA113 with a roller follower design, similar to the newer EA888 TSI engines. By eliminating sliding friction, it drastically reduces wear on the cam lobe and prevents costly engine damage, while also increasing fuel pump stroke for improved flow — up to +28% (or +18.5% on CDL engines).
